Do the timers show on the Lock Screen?
Yes. Eggo timers run as Live Activities, so they appear on the iPhone Lock Screen and in the Dynamic Island without opening the app.
Can I run multiple cooking timers at once?
Yes — start as many as your recipe needs. Each is named after its step so you always know which one is ringing.
Will a timer ring if my phone is on silent?
On iOS 26 Eggo uses the system alarm framework, so timers ring like alarms even in silent mode. On iOS 18 they alert with a notification.
Do timers keep running if I close the app?
Yes. Timers are wall-clock based and continue in the background; the Live Activity keeps showing the countdown.
